Ornate and lovely vintage Royal Trico tea set for sale. All pieces are marked "Hand Decorated ROYAL TRICO Naboya-Japan". There are 19 pieces: teapot and lid, sugar bowl and lid, cream pitcher, 5 cups, 3 saucers, and 6 plates. (When I unpacked the set from the box it had been sitting in for many years, a cup and three saucers were broken.) One of the cups seems to be stained a little darker brown from coffee or strong tea. There are no chips or cracks but some factory imperfections and a few places where it looks like a tag was. The paint does seem to have cracked under the glaze, but it is pretty and looks like it was made that way. The set displays beautifully and is quite large- the teapot is almost 7" tall. It is painted in such a pretty design, too. A stunning tea set for your collection or for company! I accept all reasonable offers. Shipping to the continental US only.
