I am selling some of the duplicates from my collection. This auction for an original, vintage, 1939 California World's Fair topper. This one is in very good condition. See the pictures for condition. Also included is the eighth printing of my booklet "Socony Vacuum License Plate Markers". This 32 page booklet describes and pictures all known original and reproductions of the famous Pegasus license plate toppers. Three new toppers are pictured in this update. Toppers are often misrepresented as originals when they are reproductions. The first reproductions were introduced in the 1960's and the last originals were made in 1941. Sixty-four different toppers from the United States and around the world and period advertising are pictured. If you are going to collect these Pegasus toppers this is a reference that you need for your library. Would make a great present for your family or friend who collects petroleum items. Also included an 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch photograph of the advertisement for this topper. This is the only known example of advertising for the Socony (Mobil) Pegasus toppers. Use your topper on your classic vehicle or display it in your den or man cave along with the picture of the ad. Shipping $6.85 in the lower 48. Actual cost all other locations.
