1940s BEAUTIFUL VERY OLD STEIFF BEAR with an early look to him, golden mohair 'Louis' Louis is a really adorable very old 1940s Steiff teddy bear with golden mohair fur, glass eyes, very long arms, the longer body and big feet of the earlier bears. he has long since lost his button in ear and ID but is cleary a Steiff bear and is guaranteed to be so. Height 13@ (33cm) apprx, with a non working squeaker. pads have some darned repairs and few small holes. He has gentle overall age wear to his mohair mostly seen in the usual places around his muzzle, around his feet/heels but is still very good and clean for his age. He looks nothing like a new bear now he has age character and charm so please only bid or buy him if you love your Steiff like this x He is shown in one photo with his baby sister who is for sale in a separate listing this week.
