Rare!! This 1941 First Edition of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little Town on the Prairie is illustrated by Helen Sewell and Mildred Boyle. The illustrations are quite different than those of Garth Williams, who later illustrated the beloved volumes. The book's cover is brown fabric hardcover, with wear along the edges and spine, and bumped corners. The binding is slightly loose but has not torn. There are two pages that suffer tears at the bottom as pictured. This is a discarded library copy and is stamped as such. This is a fantastic addition to any Laura Ingalls Wilder book collection!!
