You are bidding on a 1944 US Navy Bureau Of Ships Stadimeter Sextant Type Made By Schick - Stamford, Conn. Comes with the with original wood box. The wood box measures 11 12/ X 11/1/2 X 5 1/2 inches. Looks like someone refinished the top of the box and did a very nice job. Check out all the brass hardware on the wood box, and that great makers' plate. By the way, the serial number on the box matches the serial number on the Stadimeter #16914. The Stedimeter Sextant Type measures about 9 X 9 inches. This piece is in very good condition with light wear. I do not see any broken or missing pieces. I do not know how to use this piece, so I can't say I have verified the working condition.
