For your consideration today is this vintage 1952 Campaign brochure for Eugene McCarthy running for the US Congress! This is an original campaign brochure and was obtained with many different 1950's Minnesota DFL items that were obtained at the state fair. Eugene McCarthy was one of Minnesota's most prominent politicians, running for the Democratic Presidential nominations on many occasions, most notably in 1968. What we have is a very early 1952 campaign brochure for his re-election to the United States Congress. The brochure measures 9" by 6" when folded. The front says Re-Elect McCarthy to Congress and has a nice picture of him on the front. It also says Eugene J. McCarthy Democratic Farmer-Labor Candidate for Congress~~4th Congressional District of Minnesota (St. Paul and Rural Ramsey).
