The Swinging Sixties: when £3 bought more than a pint, and instead of electronic bleeps we bought to the musical jangling of tills like this pre-decimal-currency cash register. It has cash levers for Three Pounds to a Halfpenny. Labelled National Cash Register Co. Ltd. 206/216 Marylebone Road , London , N.W.1 and 126(1)SP3, and additionally labelled GT 869492 DEC 126(1)SP3 SH. Condition: shows its age, but presentable, and still seems to work. It has three keys for the lock: one only allowing reading of the counters (cash and customers) under the flap; the other two also allowing re-setting of the counters. It is great for set-dressing/displays, and handy for your car keys and loose change if you have room on a sturdy hall table. Innocent fun, and good exercise working the levers. Buyer will need to collect from Islington (London N1). Cash on collection preferred. Please message any questions and we will try to answer.
