1960s SY Yone (Yoneya) RS-45 Jumping Rocket robot toy For sale is this working tin 1960s Mechanical Jumping Rocket by Yoneya AKA Yone or SY. The rocket measures 6 ½” long by 5 ¼” high. It has a robot driver and when wound it hops around while the arms swing wildly by its sides. The rocket is decorated with great space age lithography and is marked RS-45 on the robot, with both R.S. and Jumping Rocket written on either side of the body. It also has the Yone trade mark & MADE IN JAPAN maker’s mark on the body. The toy does show appropriate play wear for its age and is more worn on one side than the other, but overall it is a great working example of a hard to find robot / rocket wind up toy.
