The 1961 T-Bird, also known as the "Bullet Bird" was a radically new design. It was powered bu y a 300 hp, 390 cid special V-8, mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. It rode a 113" wheelbase and the convertible weighted 4,130 lbs. It was the official pace car for the Indy 500 in 1961. This spectacular car was indeed "Unique In All The World". It was a personal luxury car of the 1st order.This model in stunning Turquoise Metallic has many operating features including opening hood, doors, center console, working suspension, steering, removable spare tire, removable fender skirts, folding seats, an antenna that goes up and down and a swing-away steering wheel. This model was retired 12/31/08. Included are an ad, title (In my name) and unpacking and care instructions. all have punch holes.I am the orignal ower.
