This is very RARE Martin Custom Cornet built in 1962 during the Martin RMC period. This cornet has a unique wrap - not like cornets with the typical Bach-like American long model cornet wrap) it is brighter and you can push it harder. Hard to overblow this horn, at large volumes the sound stays well-centered carries as well has any trumpet I have ever played. A blast to play. Great condition and great player - some lacquer wear but no dings. Comes with a fiberglass case and sharp gold-plated deep-V Martin 1 cornet mouthpiece with a very comfortable rim with a .655 inner diameter. Great match with this cornet!Red Brass Bell with a rapid bell flairExcellent condition, some lacquer wear and no dings. Valve and slide compression is "Outstanding" Easy playing horn with great intonation and Big Sound! The bore size measured at the 2nd slide measures .462 inches Med Lg.Big fat lower register.Free domestic shipping
