This jersey is from the 1976 season for the Lakeland Tigers of the Florida State League and a A affiliate for the Detroit Tigers. This jersey is extremely rare as I have never seen a 1976 Lakeland jersey available. Everything is sewn on and the team used a name on the back. Its made by Wilson and is a size 46. The jersey was worn by pitcher John Murphy who played 6 years in the minor leagues, getting all the way up to AAA. There appears to have been a number change at one time as it looks like the original number was 41, but this is not very evident. I obtained this jersey from the Estate of a former minor league player/coach and manager. I combine shipping.
