The coins have been authenticated and graded by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), which is the preferred grading service (based on populations reports) for Chinese panda coins. The coins are graded PF69 and are beautiful with reflective fields and has no visually apparent scratches, dings or frost breaks. The 1oz and 1/4oz have toning spots on the panda side of the coin. NGC holder is mint condition with no scratches. Panda coins have been a solid investment during the last couple of years. The positive price performance is attributed to increase in the price of precious metals and increase in the number of collectors participating in the market as demonstrated by increased numismatic value (premiums collectors are willing to pay above melt value) for the coins.
