A LARGE 19TH CENTURY FIJIAN 'ULA' THROWING CLUB OF GOOD OVERALL COLOUR AND CONDITION DISPLAYING VARIOUS MARKINGS TO THE HANDLE AND WELL CARVED HAND GRIP (TAVA TAVA). THERE ARE TWO DARK OBLONG SHAPED MARKS ON THE SHAFT FROM THE ORIGINAL COLLECTION LABELS WHICH ARE SADLY NOW MISSING. THESE MARKS COULD PROBABLY BE REMOVED IF THE NEW OWNER WISHED TO DO SO. THE 'ULA' MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 17 INCHES IN LENGTH WITH THE HEAD MEASURING JUST UNDER 4 INCHES ACROSS.
