A 19th C Yi Dynasty Korean footed White bottle with a globular body and a long neck with everting mouth, high just under 20 centimeters and a weight of 588 grams. Apart from some small firing-related flaws (ash spots) and slight leaning to one side ( not disturbing/visible when placed in the right position/angle) in unrestored condition. The Choson dynasty , also called Yi dynasty , has been the last and longest-lived imperial dynasty (1392–1910) of Korea . Founded by General Yi Song-gye, who established the capital at present-day Seoul ,the kingdom was named Chosŏn for the state of the same name that haddominated the Korean peninsula in ancient times.
