Up for auction is one 2009-S Lincoln Cent Bicentennial 4-coin PROOF set. This set was part of the full 2009 proof set, so the sleeve does not come with it's own box or coa . (I may have a copy of the 2009 full set coa available, if you would like one just ask when you make your payment.) This is a beautiful set with great eye appeal. This set seems to be very bright with no toning noticeable, but please see my note above, regarding the tendancy of these copper cents to tone and color. Many of them turn a deep reddish color, similar to the original copper Lincoln cent, and often seem to turn a darker red around the edges of the coins. This is normal for this year of issue, but I want to make it clear that they do not all look alike (unlike the bright new zinc penny), and the photo used may not be the exact photo of the set shipped, as I have numerous proof sets available. If you are looking for coins that are bright and shiny, and look like brand new zinc cents, please send me a message and I will see if I can find a set for you. Some of them do arrive that way, and some of them don't. If you don't request a specific coloration, I will ship the next set that I have available, and the color of the coins may vary.
