Description This auction is for a group of 24 Marx Japanese soldiers from the Battleground Iwo Jima playset. I acquired these from an estate with some other pieces of the playset and more 1960s toys. The soldiers include the coveted flag bearer and all appear to be in excellent condition. I didn't see any broken pieces. A few have their weapons bent as you might expect. The bottom of the soldiers is marked Louis Marx & Co. Inc with a date of 1963 in Roman Numerals. The soldiers are molded in a tan/sand color which really looks great. Please see photos for more details. Shipping will be boxed Parcel Post within the USA. TERMS (PLEASE READ): Payment: All you should have to do at the end of an auction is click "Pay Now". T is no need to ask for an invoice or wait for one. Shipping: Unlike some other sellers, I'm not out to make money on the shipping. Ebay's recent rule changes force me to estimate the shipping to your location. This estimate includes a small amount to cover Delivery Confirmation (Signature Delivery Confirmation for items expected to go over $100) and to help cover the costs of all those petroleum based packing materials (peanuts, bubble wrap, etc). On heavier or oversize items, I may ship via FEDEX GROUND to try to save you money and/or delivery time. Unfortunately I cannot show that rate on Ebay as a separate rate. I will refund any significant savings (over $1 or so). Similarly, if I can combine shipping for you I will and will refund any significant savings.
