ORIGINAL KELVIN CHEN Numbered Tea Pots MIB THREE TOTAL YOU GET ALL 3 Different Tea Pots Pictured in this Auction ALL OF THEM HAVE ROOSTERS ON THEM Very Unique Shapes ***** Up for BID is a Collection of Miniature Tea Pots out of an Estate, of Kelvin Chen these Teapots are in t original Boxes. These teapot's that are entirely handmade and each one is numbered by him. These were made with a limited number of each of t design. A Frenchman Jean Toutin of Chateadun was the first one to make Enamel miniatures in the 17th century, After that the English learned the skills in the mid 18th century & applied hand painted enamel designs to make these copper boxes. These Tea Pots captivated Georgian Society and became collectors favorites. These enamel Tea Pots are entirely handmade and hand painted, much like t English predecessors centuries ago. Following the 17th century tradition, 23 processes are used during the workmanship of these. In addition to the long makings of copper cutting the assembly and the bright colors used on these to make the bright color of the enamel. All these teapots vary's in measurements approximate 3 to 4 inches tall. Each one of these teapot's are numbered on the bottom and comes with t certificate of authenticity in its original box.
