I have 3 listings this week of old BELLEEK Individual Salt Cellars (Open Salt Dips) that seem to all match; however, the marks are different so I have divided them up in case a buyer collects one particular age/mark of Belleek. These 3 salts all have the BELLEEK green WILLETS mark, a long skinny snake pointing to the left. Roughly 1.5 inch in diameter. This information from Kovel's: "Willets Manufacturing Company of Trenton, New Jersey, began work in 1879. The company made belleek in the late 1880s and 1890s in shapes similar to those used by the Irish Belleek factory. They stopped working about 1912. A variety of marks were used, all including the name Willets." No chips or cracks, only very slight and unimportant paint loss and t around rims, an easy paint repair. ** Be sure to see the other listings - you'll want them all ~ YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!
