Great, vintage heavy gold-filled and RG scrap. Vast majority of this scrap is Pulsar, Hamilton and Omega LED watch cases, backs and bands. My husband, Ed Cantarella, is a well-known digital watch repairer, seller and expert, just Google "Ed Cantarella digital watch repair".....he is retroleds dot com. Anyway, he turned this scrap over to me - all has been weighed twice on two different scales and rounded down. All watches have had all stainless steel clasp parts/butterflys/etc. removed, all glass and movements have been removed. Approx. 90% of these items (i.e. all watch cases, backs and link bands) are 14k gold-filled. The remainder is 12k, a small amount of 10k. NONE of it is gold-plate, my husband does not bother saving it. There are no bands that are part g/f and part paint or leather. My husband notes that the lots containing a large number of larger watch backs and pocket watch cases should be particularly high yielding since they are thin items, but g/f on both sides. These lots should give premium yield for scrappers - thank you and
