This is a beautiful heavy cut crystal vase which I believe to be from the American Brilliant period. I don't know the terminology for the various glass cutting techniques and designs so I will let the pictures do most of the work. It is roughly eight inches in diameter at the widest point, 6.25 inches tall, one centimeter thick at the rim (roughly .4 inch). It weighs over six pounds. Despite minor chipping or fleabites, it's overall condition is excellent. T is a chip from the outside of one of the points on the rim that does not alter the profile of the point. I have included a picture of the chipped area. The 32 point bottom has many faceted diamond shaped cuts which flicker if you turn it in the light. Since listing this, I have discovered a chip out of one of points on the bottom. It looks like a lot of work went into creating this beautiful vase but if it is signed, I don't see it. ***** Please ask all questions before bidding.
