HAND MADE This is the mate to a mola I sold in January at a much higher starting price only because someone cut a swatch from the upper corner of this one. I had not noticed this until I began to list it today. Otherwise the quality of this mola is equal to the quality of that mola, and I shall use the same description for it that I used for the first mola. * * * * * The Kunas are a very peaceful people, but they do like the boxing matches; especially they liked Laguna, who was from Panama. I liked Ortiz, and I saw one of these matches in New York City. I have never seen any iinterest in boxing whatsoever from any of the mola purchasers who have visited my site in this incarnation, but I'm throwing this one out there anyway because it is so fantastic. Since all the parts of it are very clear, I gave just one close-up, that of the fillers. They're no more amazing than the spots that cover the chests or the shorts, but they are more colorful. Please check them out with the zoom and see what is involved in making just one. This mola is 16.75" x 13" and has three layers. It is in perfect condition. The edges were never cut to remove it from the blouse. They are perfectly straight. The back layer is ottomano. The cutting and sewing are absolutely meticulous. The tiniest detail is covered, down to the laces on the shoes. Someone with OCD
