1/9th Plate ruby ambrotype of a Civil War soldier in a thermo plastic, (Gutta Percha), case. Ambro is in very good condition with good contrast. He wears his 9 button jacket with cloth epaulets and piping on his collar and epaulets. He wears a slouch hat and I might be making a bold statement when I say, he might be a Confederate with that uniform and hat. Case is very nice, beautiful detail of a cold coin to the front of case. The top four corners, 3 are sharpe, the bottom four corners, one is sharp the others are not at all bad just rounded or small chips. Hinges are only a little loose and case closes tightly with a snap, no warping. Case made by Littlefield and Parsons. T is some scraping of the photo around the amt because the photo is slightly smaller than the mat and frame. Your mailing choices are listed below.
