A Keeper Hand Painted Heavy Gold Handled Bavarian Plate Album Album Album Hi. T is a glaring light reflection of the gold on the right handle--it is not white just a reflection. This is a masterpiece. A super blend of Pickard-style goldwork, superior artistry, bright vivid colors, stark-hospital white extremely fine porcelain background. Excellent condition, no chips cracks or loss of paint. The key is: Hand painted. For every 100 plates you see, 99 are done in a decal or transfer. Scalloped gold handle, impressive 10 1/4" across. This company P/T Bavaria has been a "sleeper" on e-bay for years until recently. Every serious porcelain collector I know has items made by this company, myself included.
