A very good and rare Japanese antique Meiji Period Samurai Boys Hoshi 24 Ken Suji-Kabuto . Sabinuri finish in the classic Muromachi Period O`Yoroi style . All of the metal fittings are Gilt or Silver , printed leather , three lame shikoro with mixed bindings in silk & Leather Black Lacquer .Tehenkanamono is very ornate with many sukashi markings & silk regalia to the rear , this is a Heavy Weight Kabuto in pristeen condition . Originally contained in two cedar wood hako or storage boxs , both rotted out by insects , Kabuto was wrapped in a few layers of silk and 1/2 dozen small camphor wood bags , Interior liner and fittings Excellent : Madate are all Heavy Gilt . Rare to see such fine condition .
