Beautiful ABP American Brilliant Cut Glass bowl in the Lotus pattern attributed to Egginton. Rated 2-2 by J Michael Pearson meaning very rare and one of the most desirable patterns. Complex pattern with extremely dense coverage and a wide array of elements. Bowl measures 9" across center and stands 2 1/2" tall. Bowl has a scalloped sawtooth rim with a chain of brunswick stars, hobstars, lotus with strawberry diamonds, fans, strawberry diamond vesicas, and cane. These motifs make up a large center star in bottom of bowl. There is one chipped tooth on rim and a few other with flea bites, but otherwise bowl is in excellent overall condition with very little signs of wear.
