This coffee pot was manufactured by Adams China in England, and the bottom bears the manufacturer's mark ("Real English Ironstone Adams Made in England Established 1657 Lancaster;" see photograph). This pattern is called "Lancaster," and it features a white background decorated with an abstract design of red flowers and stems, green leaves, and dark blue geometric patterns and rings. The rims are trimmed with a ring of dark blue semicircles (see photographs) . (The photographs were taken with a combination of natural light and flash. The glare is from the flash, and the shadows are from tree branches overhead.) This coffee pot is approximately 7 3/8 inches tall, and it will hold six cups of coffee comfortably. I purchased this Adams China "Lancaster" coffee pot at a local estate sale. This coffee pot is in excellent condition to near-mint condition, and t are no chips, cracks or crazing. I can see no utensil marks with the unaided eye, and the white surfaces are glossy and bright. The colors are quite vivid. Unfortunately the lid is missing.
