*UNIQUE* GROUP OF 8 AFRICAN AMERICAN STATUES A variety of African American statues from grandparents to children. There is an elderly couple each sitting in their chairs with a patchwork quilt. The elderly lady is looking at a little girl sitting on a stool next to her. The elderly man appears to be relaxing. The other couple looks as if they may be farmers. The man has a beard and is wearing a brown hat. He is carrying a basket of something green which may be beans or peas. The lady is wearing a blue dress with a white collar and has a scarf tied on her head and is carrying a towel looking bowl with more green vegetables. The other mother is wearing a pale blue dress with an apron and a deep rose colored scarf around her shoulders. She has a blue scarf around her head. A little girl in a pink dress clings to her in a loving pose. The boy wears a straw hat and a green shirt and pants with suspenders. He stands with his hands in his pockets. The edge of the straw hat is broken and part of the top of his shoe. Both parts are here and they can be gently glued back on. There are two small girls. One is standing wearing a pink dress and holding a doll with a yellow dress. The other little girl is in pale blue dress and bonnet and sets as if waiting patiently for something.
