MELANIE was an Exclusive, Limited Edition 1981 ONLY production by the Madame Alexander Doll Company, an American based toy firm. The vintage 21 inch Jacqueline Kennedy face Fashion mannikin is all Original and MINT IN BOX. She wears her tagged, handcrafted pink nylon gown with ribbon trim. Accessories include her hat, half slip with matching lace trimmed pink pantaloons, hose and high heels. She wears her original ring & metallic heart-shaped locket, and comes with her wrist tag. The blonde wig is in the original set. She comes in an original Madame Alexander labeled box (although it reads: "Scarlett - #2240). Shipping is $20.00 for this oversized box; it includes Delivery Confirmation and Postal Insurance. Offered from the estate of a local antiques & toy collector who was a U.F.D.C. Doll Club member for many, many years. These vintage dolls were purchased over a number of years from original owners, private collectors, auctions, doll shows, retail outlets, and estate sales.
