Alfred Hitchcock life mask Full profile of the Master of Suspense Alfred Hitchcock (1899 - 1980 ) This was originaly cast for the trailer of Frenzy (1972). Hitchcocks dummy was floating routundly in the San Francisco bay. At the bottom of this page you can see a publicity photo of Hitch holding his own head. This started with an actual life cast mask of Alfred Hitchcock. Then it has been sculpturaly enhanced by me Erick Erickson. The Hair ears and eye brows have been added to create a very lifelike display.I sculpted the eyes open so Hitch cam keep an eye on your every move. All of the original detail of the historic cast has been preserved. So the work of art you get has a direct link to Alfred Hitchcock. It's like having him right there with you. "GOOD EEEVINING" I am a fan and do what I do with love that you can see in the final work of art. I watched the trailers in which Hitchcock is featured and many Hitch openers for the Alfred Hitchcock presents TV show while I sculpted to further infuse the spirit of Hitchcock. The finnished piece is cast in USG's Tuf-Cal gypsum cement, it is fiber filled and has polymer additves to assure it will last forever. It measures 11.5" High X 7.5" Wide X 6" Deep. It is aproximatly 9 pounds unpacked. It is finished in Black and Whitethen rubbed with an antiquing overlay to bring out the detail. read more
