This is a nice, bright and clean 1800's amber jar that is embossed on the lid GEO. W. HELME CO OF NEW JERSEY PATENTED JULY 16, 1872 and has an unusual closure that twists on to seal the jar. No chips or cracks on either the top lid or the glass closure. Metal closure has some rust but tightens nicely and is has no missing parts. BASE IS EMBOSSED P. LORILLARD Co. This is the 24 oz. size, a little taller than a pint would be. Measures 7 inches tall. We sell satisfaction guaranteed. Payment is due within 5 days of end of auction.
