This is a truly beautiful large brilliant period hinged cut glass rectangular box. It measures 10 inches in length, x 6 inches wide by 4 inches high. The top lid has a 24 point hobstar in the center and a 24 point hobstar on each corner separated from the center hobstar by beautiful angles of notched prism. Around the box there are hobstars, 6 in all, 2 on the front and 2 on the back and one on each end of which all are separated with fan cutting. The silver protective banding is in excellent condition and also the hinges. Under close examination I see no flea bites, or any other problems. All of it appears to be in very fine excellent condition and all cut on very high quality crystal blanks. T.G. Hawkes QUALITY. THE CRYSTAL GLASS IS BRIGHT, "CRYSTAL CLEAR" AND OF OPTIMUM QUALITY.
