Constantine I the Great A.D. 307-337 Hi, up for sale is a roman bronze coin of the Emperor Constantine I (the Great) Denomination AE3/4 commemorative issue of the period A.D.370-346 16mm diameter, weight 2.1g Obverse legend, VRBS ROMA with helmeted bust of Roma left wearing imperial mantle Reverse has no legend, with she wolf suckling Romulus and Remus with two stars above with palm leaf between Coin is in very good condition and always a popular coin to collect with different variations above she wolf, coin is as found (uncleaned) but please use the photo's to determine the condition for yourself. Coin was found in good soil in Lincolnshire and has taken on a rich dark green even patina Not a rare coin, but very collectable in this condition.
