1850s? signed coverlet by H Stager, Mount Joy, PA, the coverlet is in very good condition with a stain toward the middle on the front & goes towards the back with a few thin stains below it, a few very tiny areas of wool loss, no rips, stains or tears. The weave is very strong, 78 inches wide with 2 inches of fringe on each side. 81 inches long with 2 inches of fringe on the bottom. Henry Stager lived from 1820 to 1888. Being sold as/is.
