We are pleased to offer this Antique English Smiths Enfield Oak Mantle Clock. This clock dates from the late 1940's or early 1950's. It is a beautiful oak veneer case clock with a pierced clock face. The coil chime strikes on the hour and the half. The pendulum is caste iron, as is the chime mount. The key is included. The hallmark says "Enfield Made in England" and stamped on the face is "Smiths Enfield". Measures 8 inches tall, 9 inches wide and 4 ½ inches deep. Condition is excellent. T are a very few light scratches or scuffs, but overall in fantastic shape. One very small chip in the veneer on one corner, visible in the picture below. The clockworks are complete, undamaged, and in perfect working condition. Keeps good time and chimes perfectly. This is one of the better clocks (condition-wise) that I have offered in quite a while.
