Rare miniature anchor salesman's sample of a Baldt Admiral Anchor. The Baldt Anchor and Chain Company was founded in Chester, PA and is one of the world's foremost makers of anchor and chain having outfitted thousands of commercial ships, ocean liners and military vessels. Their first product was the "Baldt Patent Stockless Anchor" patented by Frederick Baldt, October 27, 1896. I'm thinning out some of the duplicates and such from my anchor model collection and will be posting them over the next couple of weeks. Always ready to buy or trade these items. The anchor measures about 6" long and 3.75" wide and weighs 1lb. 7oz. Keywords: nautical sailing anchor yacht marine maritime advertising patent model salesman salesmen boat ocean liner oceanliner
