Description of item for sale:This pretty clock garniture (clock & urns) is from France and it dates to the early 1900âe(tm)s. The clock runs well and keeps good time-this is a clock that wants to run! It is a time only 8 day movement with no chimes or bell. The works are unmarked-theyâe(tm)re typical high quality French works a la Japy Freres. These works are not original to the case and the pendulum isnâe(tm)t original to the works (although itâe(tm)s the correct length and weight). The case is all solid brass castings except for the bulbs on the top of the clock and the urns-theyâe(tm)re from sheet brass. As you can see, the brasswork is very bright-it looks like someone just cleaned it. Note that the window glass on the clock face door is missing. Comes complete with key. Dimensions (clock): 20" tall, 11" wide, 4" deep; (urns): 15" tall, 6" across, 4" deep.
