You are bidding on an Antique Carved French Louis XVI Mahogany Sofa Loveseat Settee. I have the matching chaire to this antique parlor set and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. This is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the early 1900s and is Circa 1930. This was BEAUTIFULLY made and is of THE HIGHEST quality with flowers, roses, Ancathus leaves, floral baskets and other beautiful detail with to much to list. It sits on beautifully curved French cabriole legs with oval shaped rosettes. The arm rests are beautifully scrolled with scallop carved trim work going throughout the edges. The top has a beautifully carved French ribbonback motif which is nicely riveted in the detail of the carvings. The upholstery has a beautiful floral decor pattern with button tufted sides and a down filled cushion. I took a picture with the matching chair that is on separate Ebay auction so you can get a better idea on what they look like all together. It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. This was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age and the upholstery needs to be professionally cleaned and / or recovered but overall its in excellent shape. It measures approx 33.5 inches high, 89 inches wide, 32 inches deep and sits at approx 18 inches in height.
