Antique Cast Iron Domed Mosque Still Bank by Gray NR Moore $275You are bidding on an antique Cast Iron Medium Domed Mosque Bank made by Gray.These were produced between 1903-1928. The Gray Iron Casting Company began in 1881 in Mount Joy PA and operated until 1925 making dozens of popular banks including the Battleship Maine. "Bank" is embossed under the roof. The paint is worn. There are no cracks, chips, breaks, repairs or damage of any kind. The seams are tight, the pieces align well and it has its original rivet. Valued at $275 in Moore 's penny book #1177 in 2000. # 415 in Hubert Whiting's Old Iron Still Banks. This is a very fine old original bank. Measures approx. 4-1/2" tall, 4-1/4" wide, and 2-3/8" deep.
