Antique CONVERSE Rubber Shoe Co. Wood Crate - Railroad Shipping Box Container Presented for sale is an Antique CONVERSE Rubber Shoe Co. Wooden Crate.The Converse wood crates are pretty rare, and highly collectible.They were used for shipping and marked: Standard Railroad Container.This is NOT a full size Converse Crate. Someone took a crate and cut it in half to make dresser drawers. The dresser was recently discovered in barn full of antiques. When the drawers were removed, they discovered that they'd been made from using Converse crates!!This drawer actually displays better than the full size crate (smaller and easier to display). Not being as deep, it'll fit perfect on a shelf, or can be hung on the wall. Someone even suggested putting some legs on it, and using it as a coffee table!! Cool thought...Measures 32 3/4" inches in length, 17" height, and 7 1/8" inches in depth.In Excellent Condition. Please view photos for details of condition.
