Up for bids is this Antique Early 20thC Daum Nancy Louis Majorelle Art Glass & Wrought Iron Owl Vase. This vase was made by Daum and was designed by Louis Majorelle. This vase is made out of an orange reddish glass which fades into white at the bottom. A wrought iron casing is wrapped the vase to make it look like an owl. This is a very nice vase but unfortunately it is not in the best condition. There are cracks all through out the bottom and there is some very minor surface rust to the wrought casing. There is also a very small flea bite to the top rim. This vase is definately worthy of restoration by a professional The bottom has been duct taped so that further damage could not occur which was put on by the previous owner. The previous owner said that it was signed Daum Nancy & also by Majorelle. This vase stands 13" and has a diameter of 8".
