Antique faux ivory tooth-shaped thing-y, maybe had been a handle for an old knife or spear; it could be used for scrimshaw, perhaps. It's possibly from Alaska or Canada, likely Inuit or Eskimo in origin. It measures approx. 3.75" x 1" across widest end. Weight is 44.9 grams. It has lovely aged patina and color, there are age-related shrinkage lines, expected of the age and material. There is a hole in one end, see photos. Offered 'as found'.
