You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL Antique Designer French Louis XVI Inlaid Butlers Secretary Desk & Commode Dresser Chest of Drawers. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and was made of the HIGHEST quality in case goods. It sits on beautifully rounded French cabriole legs with brass tipped feet. It has 3 beautifully inlaid and curved Bombay drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with brass or bronze dore pull handles that have a floral pattern etched into the castings. The top drawer folds down and opens to the secretary desk with a nicely fitted desk interior with beautiful inlay design going throughout the edges. The front has GORGEOUS floral inlays going throughout with Rose shaped floral motifs all done in bronze castings at each corner of the front, and is missing one of bottom pull handles as shown in the photos. The sides have also have beautiful marquetry inlays with Satinwood inlays going around the edges. This piece can be used in a hallway or foyer, bedroom, living room and anyw else throughout your home and I PROMISE it will be a topic of conversation. It has a beautiful and exotic natural figured wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. This piece is VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything that is made today and all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it but overall this piece is in excellent shape.
