Extremely good-looking antique gilt bronze figurine of a Hindu deity and another being which clings to him, the two figures having been cast separately and then assembled together by the artist. Fabulous original patina, as the pics show. An old estate piece with definitely considerable age and guaranteed antique and also guaranteed genuine gilt-bronze and not any type of other material. I know little about East Indian bronzes, but after I got this I showed it to a friend of mine who really is very knowledgable about Asian antiques and he advised definitely antique, ca. the early 1800s or possibly even older. Check my feedback and I unconditionally guarantee in writing that I will take it back (less shipping) if you buy it and don't agree that it is antique after you see it in person, but I really don't think you're going to be disappointed. MINT/Old condition on very careful and honest inspection with a fine old patina of age and no damage, missing parts, or repairs. About 7.5" tall including its custom-made wooden base and figure's armspan is about 5". NO RESERVE and a very low start and an exceptional piece. Bid with confidence, I really think you'll be very glad.
