This is a superb example of a Victorian Majolica Serving Tray, .. dating from circa. 1870. The tray is English and is decorated with a relief moulded pattern of overlapping oak leaves and acorns, .... then finished in a rich glaze typical of majolica wares. The plate is in very good condition. T are some very small nibbles to the glaze on the back rim and some repair to one of the handles, ... this has been very well carried out .. and is shown in the photos. Length : 10.2 ins. / 26.0 cms.
