ANTIQUE,AUTHENTIC AND USED GREAT CARVED *** TRIBAL SHERPA MILK PITCHER *** from North East Nepal, Sherpa Area. These milk pitchers have been used by the tribal village population of North East Nepal to contain milk, curd or local beer. This very beautiful item consists of hardwood and depicts a great carved surface with unusual floral and geometric patterns of this tribal area. The handle is carved in the shape of a fine stylized animal. Dark and thick glossy age patina. No soot patina. Condition: perfect condition, no damage, fine thick age patina, good signs of longtime use and age. Age: late 19th to early 20th century . Size: Height 26.0 cm. Diameter 18.8 cm.
