Up for bid is a Vintage, old original handmade tobacco basket. It is very close to original condition. This one has a Natural wood band with DEAN KNOX stamped in black. It has painted black corners with the number 03438 stamped in white.. The openings you see on each corner are not broken places, that is they way they were made. The basket measures 39X39X5. I have many baskets that we just got off the farm that had been stored in the barn for many many years, their color is good not sun bleached they have just been pressured washed to clean some of the dirt off them. The rest is up to you, to stain, paint or leave as is.Please see pictures for exact condition, ( last 2 pictures shows how they transported and sold tobacco in these baskets at the WHSE.) like I said I have a lot of these some in this condition other in good condition and other in very used condition, all around the same age, OLD.
