I have some antique primitive handmade tobacco baskets these measure around 40 inches square. These baskets are fresh off the farm, some may still have the twine string tied on them. Please see pictures for exact condition. This tobacco basket has a Natural Wood Band with Black corners it has DEAN KNOX stamped on one side and has the number 002270 stamped on the corners. Again these have been used a lot and is missing some slats,but other than that looks to be original. The openings you see on each corner are not broken places, that is the way they are made. I have many baskets that we just got off the farm that had been stored in the barn for many many years, their color is good not sun bleached these have not been pressured washed and still have the farm dirt on them.They will clean up good and then is up to you, to stain, paint or leave as is.Please see pictures for exact condition, also the last 2 pictures are the baskets being used in the Tobacco Warehouse. Like I said I have a lot of these some in this condition other in good condition and other in very used condition, all around the same age, OLD.
