Beautiful and unusual, carved soapstone brush pot. Beautiful colors. Overall, 7-1/2" long and 2" wide. 5" tall. Very detailed carving with two pots, shorter one is 2-1/4" wide and 1" deep, the tall one is 1-1/4" wide and 4-1/2" deep. Carvings of monkeys, birds and a beaver (?) surround the pots. Etched on the front of the smaller pot, "EXPOSITION SAN FRANCISCO 1913." A cool piece of San Francisco history!
