For sale is an ANTIQUE HAND-FORGED PIT BOTTOM SOLID COPPER TEA KETTLE made in NORWAY!This antique kettle is marked "VOLUND HAMAR 2" on the solid copper handle. From the research that I have done, kettles with marking were made in Norway. This kettle would most likely date back to the 19th century. It is in pretty good condition for its age and miles traveled. The lid fits well. Kettle sits flat. There has been more than repair to this well loved piece. You can see them in the pictures. Height to top of handle is approximately 9" and it weighs 1.2lbs.This gorgeous old Scandinavian treasure will be a fabulous addition to any collection!**I always combine shipping based on the total weight and dimensions of the box.
