ANTIQUE SOUTH PACIFIC ISLANDS CARVED WAR CLUB This is an antique carved wood war club from one of the South Pacific Islands group that is 35 1/2" long and made of a tight grained and heavy fruit wood of some sort. The club is carved with a small knob at one end and an intricate series of spool-like turnings in the middle reminiscent of very early furniture turnings on tables and chairs, etc. The business end is an elongated four sided elipse ending in a small button that is well worn like this may have also been used as a walking stick. T is also a carved flange just above the midsection, a small portion of which has been restored, as pictured. This club is definitely real and antique and it has a very smooth polished surface with great old color and patina from age. This was found in New England, and I have no other information, but please ask any necessary questions, as this is not my specialty. Cashier's check, money order, personal check, or PayPal accepted. Shipping is $10.00 Priority Mail, and t is a 3 day approval period. Email for more info and thanks.
